Bishop Gadsden is now hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our Nationally recognized Culinary Team!
We are looking for a talented individual with multiple years’ experience in a varied of culinary settings. This position is responsible for all food production including all items produced for our fine dining restaurant, our multi-concept retail outlets, our scratch bakery program and large catering operation. Menu design and development, food purchasing specifications and standardized recipes. Development and monitoring of our food and labor budgets for the department also fall within this individual purview, as does managing 3 chefs, 1 executive pastry chef, a purchasing agent and a staff of 40 employees. Furthermore, the Executive Chef is responsible for maintaining the highest professional food qualities and hygiene/sanitation standards throughout the operation.
Minimum 10-15 years of extensive culinary leadership
Ability to promote and participate in a team environment
Ability to understand written and oral directions and to communicate professionally with others
Degree for Culinary Arts College or Training Program, equivalent college or professional certification or years of experience working under Chefs.
State of the Art Production Kitchen and a Retail Scratch Bakery Program
Reports directly to the Director of Culinary Services
Oversees a Culinary Intern Program
