About the Job
Bovino’s Churrascaria is opening its first US location in the La Cantera. We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare quality food with excellent presentation
- Propose new and updated recipes
- Create new recipes for special events
- Ensure all kitchen staff produces high-quality food
- Participate in inspections and follow up on all action items
- Order equipment and product efficiently
- Maintain customer satisfaction ratings and address any complaints
- Manage and lead kitchen staff
- Organize all training for kitchen staff as appropriate
- Perform staff evaluations for all kitchen staff
- Lead daily staff briefings
- Prepare the weekly schedule
- Ensure all staff adhere to safety standards
- Responsible for maintaining costs within budgetary guidelines
- Responsible for all inventories
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of culinary experience working in a fast-paced restaurant
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Culinary arts education strongly preferred
- Technical knowledge of pastries, delicatessen, and international cuisine
- Experience managing costs, safety, health inspections, and inventory
