The Executive Director will be the public face for the company and is committed to the impact of the program within the community. He or she is comfortable practicing strategic thinking with an innovative approach that results in effective organizational change. A major responsibility of this role will be to set the vision of the company and network on behalf of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Set the vision and direction for growth and organizational development.
Develop and maintain cooperation with the Board and Founders to maintain financial health and strategy.
Manage operations, finances, and employee relations at the company.
Build and maintain a positive organizational culture.
Develop workforce through professional development and retention strategies.
Manage a team of six members which are the business administrator, the principal support director, the program manager, and the director of development.
Collaborate with the Director of Development to devise and implement a development strategic plan that diversifies funding sources for the company.
Skills & Experience Required:
10+ years of prior related experience.
Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s degree Preferred.
Proven track record of results setting and achieving organizational goals.
People practitioner and effective manager.
External Stakeholder Management experience preferred.
Prior experience collaborating with the board of directors.
Prior experience with education development within the education sector.
Flexibility to attend events on nights and weekends.
