The CommuniCare Family of Companies owns/manages senior living facilities in multiple states. We are continuing to expand our presence in Indiana and currently have an opportunity for an Executive Director for a flagship Independent Living facility in the greater Indianapolis area.
The Executive Director is fully accountable for all property operations. The purpose of the Executive Director is to effectively manage and coordinate employees, activities and available resources in order to accomplish property objectives as set forth by the Regional Manager and property owner. These objectives will include maximizing occupancy levels and property values. The Executive Director will be responsible for the below duties and responsibilities:
In conjunction with the Regional team, the Property Manager will assist in formulation of budgets for each upcoming calendar year. The Property Manager is responsible for staying within the established budget guidelines throughout the year.
Hires, trains, motivate, supervise, all on-site staff in order to achieve operational goals of assigned property.
Administrative and Office:
Ensures that lease files are complete and that completion of leases is being executed properly.
Maintains positive customer service approach.
Inspects property on a regular basis, verifies conditions of vacant apartments.
Conducts market surveys monthly and provides trend report information. Shops competition and is aware of neighborhood market conditions.

At least 2 years experience as an Executive Director / Property Manager for Independent Living property
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
Knowledge of Indiana housing
