The Kaua‘i Economic Development Board (KEDB) is looking for an Executive Director (ED) to lead the private, non-profit organization charged with economic development for the island of Kaua‘i. The ED will plan, develop, direct, administer and implement the objectives and strategies of the board and its working committees. The ED will manage the day-to-day operations of the organization and overall supervision of the staff and volunteers to promote the overall economic development for the island of Kaua‘i and support a proper climate for companies to prosper and grow.

- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Five (5) years’ experience as a non-profit Executive Director or equivalent
- Combined five (5) years of experience in economic analysis, marketing, project management, budget preparation, accounting, or grant writing environment.
- Ability to speak publicly and make presentations.

Some travel is required across Kaua‘i and within Hawaii for KEDB-related events, training, community involvement, etc. A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are required.

Also note that the final selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a background check (criminal, motor vehicle, education verification, employment verification, etc.) and a drug screen.
