Because whenever you join, however long you stay, the exceptional EY experience lasts a lifetime. **Job Summary:** The Region Experience Management Leader, Associate Director position is responsible for the overall Resource Management (RM) function for National Tax (NTD) which includes centrally deployed practices across many geographical locations and with diverse skill sets. Responsible for overseeing the utilization of resources, aligning resources with the National Tax strategic plan, analyzing operational results and promoting the development of staff while focusing on risk management. This position will handle resource/scheduling management responsibilities within National Tax that are complex, large scope (in terms of total revenues) and require extensive relationships with multiple stakeholders to successfully execute on the engagement scheduling/resource assignment management processes. **Responsibilities** + Provides pertinent resource planning details and analyses toassist in the development of the annual fiscal plan. + Assists in the on-going forecast/outlook process by analyzingcomparisons between forecast/scheduling tools/actual; monitors ability toachieve plan hours and utilization and assists in managing headcount basedon client needs and available hours. + Identifies and implements processes to improve theresource management process + Liaises with service line and NTD members on resourcemanagement initiatives and issues; shares best practices to leverageknowledge across service lines and within the National Practice. + Develops, implements and monitors NTD’s policies andprocedures as it relates to Resource Management activities. + Consults with NTD leadership on executive assignments. + Meet with Partners, Senior Managers and Managers to discussstaffing requirements for their clients, and to gain an understanding ofspecific engagement needs and deadlines. + Directly supervise resource analysts, provide support asneeded on a daily basis regarding staffing issues/concerns. + Delegate projects/tasks as appropriate to enhancedevelopmental opportunities. + Meet as neededwithNTDleaderstodiscuss people or client matters, present conflicts/issues and potentialalternative to pending items. + Must be able to identify alternatives to staffing issuesbased on client, engagement team and personnel variables, and becomfortable communicating and supporting their decision with all involved **Knowledgeand skills requirements** + Stronganalytical skills + Strong project management and supervisory skills. + Adept at change management, catalyst for process improvementinitiatives + Strong knowledge of how the Firm operates strategicinitiatives and the business.
