External Security Officer-Unarmed at Brosnon Security Solutions

Brosnan Security Services seeks enthusiastic, passionate Security Officers to work in a commercial building in NYC.

Shift Hours: 7am-3pm; 3pm-11pm; 11pm-7am

Responsibilities:

-Execute security services as outlined in site-specific post orders and directed by Security Management

-Stand in a professional position (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet)

-Act as a customer-friendly deterrent to crime

-Observe and report suspicious activities and persons

-Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily incident reports (DIRs)

-Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

Qualifications:

-Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License

-Must have minimum 1 year Experience in Security

-Must own an active smartphone

-Must have good command of the English language

-Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

-Must be available to work days, nights and weekends

-Must have reliable transportation or knowledge of subway system

-Must be able to work external post for entire shift. 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.99 per hour
