Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is a modern casual Napa-inspired full-service restaurant with a scratch kitchen, full bar, winery-inspired private event space and an artisan retail market. Facilities Director will be responsible for ensuring that as our brand grows so does the importance of maintaining a great customer experience through our facilities. This hands-on leader will be responsible for managing a small staff that focuses on providing a safe and efficient work environment that improves our restaurant teams’ productivity. Duties for the Director of Facilities include implementing policies and safety procedures, engaging and holding all pertinent vendors and contractors accountable, preparing facilities budgets and optimizing facilities spend, ensuring the longevity of restaurant assets and supporting Restaurant Operations team with proactive communication and strategic planning for all capital projects.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing restaurant maintenance vendors and contractors
- Coordinating routine maintenance and repairs
- Ensuring longevity of restaurant assets
- Accountable for maintenance budgets and optimizing maintenance costs
- Strategic planning including project schedules and budgets for all capital projects
- Implementing safety policies and procedures
- Delivering proactive communication on facilities and maintenance to Restaurant Operations
- Manage & administer ServiceChannel system including analytics on maintenance
Requirements
- Must represent Cooper’s Hawk values, a team player with leadership abilities
- At least 5 years proven experience as Facilities Manager with supervision of a team, Restaurant experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including experience in negotiations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- BSc/BA in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Management or relevant field
- FMP (Facilities Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certifications a plus
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ServiceChannel or similar facilities project management tools
Physical Job Functions
- Work in office and field environment
- Overtime and weekend support required to serve Restaurant Operations team
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines
