Job description: PeaceHealth is looking for an experienced Family Medicine Physician.This is not your traditionaloutpatient care clinic asyou'll need to be comfortable working in an ER or Urgent Care like setting. Becauseof Prince of Wales' unique rural environment we are seeking someone comfortable treating patients across the age spectrum- from prenatal care to adults, you're going to do it all!. The ideal candidate will have skills including but not limited to: adult medicine, women's health, prenatal care, pediatrics, basic procedures (minor surgical, casting/splinting, suturing, lumps and bumps, drainages, etc.), critical care, urgent care, or emergency room experience. You'll need to be comfortable withtrauma,ACLS/PALS situations, runing codes and arranging lifeflights. Being on an island with no interconnected road system and no nearby hospital, you'll practice rural medicine like you never had before.
