We are working with a national company expanding their presence in the greater Chicago region. The Field Service Mechanic and Sales Agent opportunity is very unique, perfect for a capable mechanic with great people skills. In this role, you will be provided with a company service truck and be dispatched to service calls in the field from your home. You will visit construction sites, manufacturing facilities and other heavy industrial work locations, with the primary responsibility of replacing and repairing hydraulic components in various kinds of heavy machinery. In addition to working with the hydraulic components as a technician/mechanic, you will be a point of contact for the company with the customer, and seek opportunities for more business whether its part sales, maintenance projects, or upselling additional products/services of value for the customer.

-2 plus years heavy duty mechanic, diesel mechanic, millwright or maintenance/industrial mechanic experience
-post high school education in trades/mechanic discipline is highly valued
-valid driver's license with ability to operate service truck and drive to and from service calls
-strong interpersonal skills
-great attitude and interest in learning and growing with a company
