Evoqua Water Technologies LLC is searching for a Field Service Technician to service our Light Industry Technology customers in the Seattle, Washington area. This position will be responsible for servicing, installing, and maintaining commercial and industrial water purification equipment, including pumps, motors, piping, and electrical circuits. Specific equipment includes Multi-media filters, Softeners, Chemical injection systems, De-ionization resin and Reverse Osmosis equipment, small box lab systems. Our Field Service Technicians interface with customers to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution, which also includes complex product and service training to customers. This position may also be an integral part of our team in negotiating and administering service and/or systems contracts.
This position will have a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday, with some occasional overtime and after-hours on-call responsibilities, which could include weekends and holidays.
Qualifications for this position include:
- H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent, although a two year vocational or associates degree is preferred
- 2-5 years experience in servicing, installing, and maintaining pumps, motors, piping, and other mechanical systems as well as electrical circuits is strongly desired, although less experience with a two year degree may be considered
- PLC and advanced troubleshooting experience is strongly desired
- Water treatment industry experience is strongly desired, although not necessary
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be willing and available to work some overtime, including weekends if necessary and to be “On-call” during non-business hours for emergency service work during scheduled rotation
- Must possess good organizational skills and be able to work well with others in a dynamic environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- CDL preferred
