Fruition Restaurant, the neighborhood favorite of James Beard Award winner Chef Alex Seidel, is searching for a Certified Sommelier to add value to our front-of-house team. Fruition features a 200+ bottle list of offerings from the greatest and most interesting wine makers and houses in the world on a seasonally rotating list, as well as nightly features from Magnum.
Candidates for our Floor Sommelier position at Fruition are requested to have successfully completed Level II in the Court of Master Sommeliers, worked on the floor of similar "refined dining" operation for a minimum of a year, and demonstrate an interest and desire in furthering the wine appreciation and education of the public in a restaurant setting. Compensation is comprised of an hourly wage plus participation in the nightly gratuity pool, payable on a weekly payroll cycle. Quarterly bonus potential after 90-days. This is a full time, 4-5 night a week position. Weekly admin work includes inventory and invoicing, and potential exists for leadership of regular staff education opportunities at the discretion of the Director of Operations.
