Under minimum supervision, performs a wide range of food service duties within the utility the department. Maintains work area in clean and orderly condition by performing such duties as cleaning appliances, dishes, steam tables, carts, pots, pans, and dish machines. Is expected to solve problems without the need for direct supervision to assure quality service standards.
- Requires one to three months on-the-job orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department policies and procedures, work routines, and to learn to operate area-specific equipment.
- Must be able to work the following shifts 7-3:30pm, 11:30-8pm or 4-8pm
- Must be able to lift and carry industrial kitchen pots and pans
- Ability to read, understand instructions
