The Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront is currently looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join their Front Office team! As Front Office Supervisor, you would be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.The Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for the shift management of the daily Front Office Department operation. This position is also responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service, quality and preferred standards are met at all times. This is a full-time position that requires at least 2 overnight (3rd) shifts per week. The applicant must be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate. Also must be willing to fill in as needed.Job Duties:Manage all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.Responsible for Guest Service Agents, PBX Operators, Bellpersons, Valet Attendants. Also, serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) at times.Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardMonitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordinglyEnsure compliance with Hilton standardsMeet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concernsInitiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenueEnsure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and eventsComplete audit procedures, as neededRecruit, interview and train team membersEnsure team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings, products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and eventsRecruit, interview and train team membersAttends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessionsComplies with our uniform and grooming guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedJob Requirements:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is requiredMinimum of 1 year of Front Office supervisory experience preferredMinimum of 2 years Hotel Front Office experience preferredMust have guest service experience, preferably in a hotel settingMust be 21 years or olderMust be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and employee requests, ensure guest satisfaction, and work as a team playerGood communication and interpersonal skills are essentialFlexible schedule required for days, evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to effectively communicate in English with supervisor, fellow employees and guestsThe Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront hotel is centrally located to downtown San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
