About the Position
CDL Fuel Transport drivers are responsible for loading and unloading of hazardous materials and safely transporting company and client deliverables from one location to another. This position involves daily hands-on interaction with hazardous materials. Communications with customers, employees and owners is essential. Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible to meet company deadlines, scheduling of deliveries and be able to work in a primarily industrial environment.

Responsibilities Include
Ensure equipment is safe, meets Department of Transportation requirements
Load and unload customer product correctly
Ensure deliveries are made on time and paperwork is accurate
Coordinate and schedule maintenance for assigned vehicle with shop
Maintain vehicle equipment/ensure in working condition
Keep truck clean and presentable
Follow standard operating and safety procedures and practices
Be familiar with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Handbook
Perform other activities and responsibilities as defined and needed
- Minimum two years driving experience
- Must be 25 years of age (for insurance)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Clean MVR
- A current Class A CDL with hazmat, tank and doubles and triple endorsements
- Must have basic computer skills and/or be comfortable working with a computer
- Have a basic knowledge of DOT and Federal Highway Regulations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
