Essential Duties And Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities in their respective area.
Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives in their respective area.
Accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with staff.
Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong leadership skills, work well with a team and have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. The candidate must have strong decision-making skills, problem-solving skills and conflict-management abilities. They must have a thorough knowledge of the company, its culture and its products and services. They must also be able to work with all levels of management and have superior training and delegation abilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years management experience and a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Possess good interpersonal skills. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels both internally and externally. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally employee may need to stoop or kneel. Occasionally employee may lift up to 25 pounds.
