General Radiologist - M60109
The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia is currently seeking applicants for a faculty position as a General Radiologist in the Department of Radiology, Division of Diagnostic Radiology. The successful candidate will be able to provide general diagnostic image interpretation with state-of-the-art equipment at VCU Medical Center in support of the referring physicians and patients of the VCUHS.
The Medical College of Virginia Hospitals has 822 beds with a Level 1 Trauma Center, a comprehensive cancer center, a large liver/kidney transplantation service, and a large adjacent outpatient facility. In addition to research opportunities in the Department of Radiology, there are ongoing interdisciplinary research projects with Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology and Radiation Oncology.
ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination, and an interest in teaching and research are required. The applicant must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
