The Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply Chain Manager is an expert in Integrated Business Planning processes, behaviors and tools that support business planning excellence and have deep expertise in Supply Chain function role in IBP. The IBP process defines how we run the business planning at General Mills and this role will help lead the way General Mills will run these processes going forward. The standards developed and deployed by this role will impact how effectively we use our resources in future to be the leader in food industry.
The Supply Chain IBP Manager sets the priorities for the functional processes in IBP framework and leads the global actions to educate, train, coach, and sustain SC process excellence in both strategic and executional activities. This leader is responsible for the creation of an IBP Supply chain annual plans detailing current gaps in the process and outlining plans to close them, as well as global standardization of processes, including globalizing the RUN model within IBP as rolled out in North America Supply Chain.
This role offers a unique opportunity to understand and influence end to end SC processes globally for all our businesses. As a member of the Global IBP Leadership team, this individual is expected to be qualified in IBP health assessment process and will aid in Health Checks and conduct IBP assessments across all geographies and all aspects of IBP.
Lead and support, Supply Chain processes, behaviors and tools within the framework of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes that drive business planning excellence across the global organization
Onboard new Supply Chain Sponsors and Leaders utilizing new and existing IBP onboarding materials.
Provide ongoing coaching to the Supply Chain stakeholders to drive and maintain standardized process and meeting effectiveness
Lead and execute IBP Assessments to advance and sustain IBP across all functions/levels of the organization, working in conjunction with IBP Leaders and functional Leaders
Participate in industry groups, companies and associations to keep current on changing processes
Develop a clear roadmap (annual plans) to drive standardization, continuous improvement and simplification across the Supply Pillar globally
Partner with the Global Supply Capability COE (Center of Excellence) and Global Plan Pillar COE to develop and deploy training and education on IBP Supply Chain principles and practices, including standard inventory management, production/capacity planning and product life cycle tools, processes and metrics
Partner (consult, guide, and design) to ensure the Supply Chain tools, processes and metrics within Integrated Planning Transformation (IPT) and the Global SC Operating Model are aligned with the IBP framework and principles
Fully integrate the RUN model within the Supply Pillar across the global Supply Chain
Ensure annual IBP related Supply Chain process Health Checks across Segments
Serve and lead the IBP Supply Chain processes, including (1) facilitate best practice sharing, (2) globalize the Supply Chain IBP capabilities, (3) develop and/or implement policies, structures, organization, objectives, metrics and techniques for continuous improvement
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 + years of prior experience in Supply Chain (or related discipline) with exposure to inventory management and supply planning concepts/tools and Integrated Business Planning
- IBP/PEAK Supply Review Meeting facilitator roles at large business unit level
- Experience executing process health checks and assessments
- Leadership experience to implement and/or operate IBP process at market/business unit level
- Experience with international markets preferred but not required
