The role of the Aging Studies Program Graduate Assistant (GA) is to assist the director with program development and maintenance activities, planning and implementation of special events and research projects, student advising, enrollment, and communications. The GA must be able to work a minimum of 15 daytime hours, Monday-Friday. Although the GA’s assignments will largely be determined by the needs of the Program, every effort will be made to match the GA’s interests, skills, experience, and abilities with the appropriate and desired tasks. Preference for hire will be given to past Aging Studies Program minor students, current Gerontology and Dementia Graduate Certificate Students, or graduate students who have a passion for working with older adults. However, all applicants will be considered for the position.
