GUEST MONITOR - HOAG CORPORATE HEALTH SOLUTIONS (Fountain Valley, CA, US) at Hoag

Hoag Corporate Health Solutions, provides customized healthcare services to businesses across Orange County, CA.  

As a part of the Hoag Corporate Health Solutions team, the Guest Monitor will function as the point of contact for guests/visitors at the time of monitoring after vaccinations are administered.  This role may include monitoring guests/ visitors after administration of a vaccine, administrating of on-site temperature screening services and asking basic questions to identify symptoms. Working under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) with escalating guest/ visitors needs as required.  Guest Screeners interact with guests/visitors in a positive, professional, and caring manner. 

Screeners will be provided personal protective equipment to wear for the duration each shift and be trained in proper sanitizing and safety procedures.  

Education, Training and Experience 

Required: High School Diploma and graduate of Medical Assistant program or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification or completion of an EMT course. 

Preferred: Experience in medical operations 

Skills or Other Qualifications 

Required: Ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive customer service and professional attitude at all times.  Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritize.  Strong communication and customer service skills required.  

Preferred: Bilingual 

License and Certifications 

Required: EMT Certification or Medical Assistant Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association.
