Fluke Calibration is looking for an analog design engineer to join our team in Everett WA and help create the highest performance electrical test and calibration products in the world. From DC to RF our products precisely source and measure voltage, current, power and impedance. Since we are a relatively small team designing complex equipment you will enjoy a large scope of responsibility typically designing entire functions within the product. This is a rare opportunity to do innovative analog design work that pushes the limits of physics alongside experienced design engineers and industry-leading experts in metrology in a park-like setting in the Pacific Northwest. Primary Responsibilities: + Design and/or improve the design of precision analog hardware + Conduct functional and environmental tests of new designs to evaluate circuit and hardware performance against internal and external quality requirements + Make cost effective design decisions + Prepare documentation such as schematic diagram, parts list and theory of operation + Operate in a team environment by coordinating work activities with other design engineers, manufacturing engineers, PC layout, and technicians + Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in applicable engineering areas + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering + Two years of experience with PCA-level analog design + Ability to do low noise design, precision amplifier design, filter design, loop analysis and error analysis + SMPS experience a plus + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Strong drive to achieve project performance goals and deadlines + Occasional travel to help the business gather and understand customer needs Fortive is a diversified industrial growth company comprised of global businesses that are recognized leaders in attractive markets.
