Required Function 1:
We are seeking a talented individual for a Health Engagement Designer position.
Required Function 2:
Essential Responsibilities:• Engage, persuade, and inspire healthcare consumers with smart content design and copywriting across various channels, including Interactive Voice, SMS, and Email. • Work with senior members of the team to learn how to improve communications through research and analytics• Proofread and copy edit documents for grammar, punctuation, flow, and spelling• Communicate issues promptly, clearly, and professionally to manager for resolution• Have a client-facing presence; consulting with them to ensure the design is optimized• Work with other facets of HED – Production, Solution Design, and Writers – to brainstorm on enhancements, both channel and content related• Develop a working knowledge of client brand and goals.• Balance client feedback with Eliza’s content standards and technical capabilities• Advocate for smart, effective content throughout the organization and with clients• Collaborate with client teams – including project managers, data analysts, sales consultants, and engineers – to ensure content is timely, effective, and on brand• Communicate with other designers about campaign, brand and best practices to ensure high-quality content is delivered by all contributors to every project
Required Function 3:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Excellent organizational skills• Enjoy problem-solving and critical thinking• Ability to handle high volume of simultaneous projects accurately and on deadline• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple groups/departments• Strong attention to detail, never letting a typo go unnoticed• Ability to thrive under pressure, delivering quality work while staying calm• Excellent persuasive writing skills informed by behavior change theory, advertising techniques, or marketing principles• Strong client relations abilities including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills• Engaging presentation skills• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Required Function 4:
Work Conditions:• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple groups/departments• Sitting for hours at a time at a desk• May be required to work extended hours for special business needs• May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs
Required Function 5:
Minimum Education:• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, other related field – specific to Health Communications. Master’s Degree preferred. Additional years of experience and may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Function 6:
Minimum Related Work Experience:• 2+ years professional experience in content development• 2+ years working in the healthcare industry (preferred)
