Helpdesk Analyst for Mid-Sized Law Firm
Tully Rinckey PLLC, a successful full-service international law firm with coast-to-coast and Irish offices, is seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to join our team in our Albany, NY office. The Helpdesk Analyst will be responsible for helping our end users with issues as they arise. The Helpdesk Analyst will look for ways to improve the environment and reduce chronic issues. The Analyst may report directly to the CIO and coordinate with the other IT staff as appropriate.
The Helpdesk Analyst will have had experience in end user support to include software and hardware management. Additionally, the Helpdesk Analyst will have experience in ticketing systems and their usage. Knowledge of ITIL concepts a plus.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
+ Resolve end users’ desktop issues within a timely manner (established SLA’s).
+ Utilize the helpdesk software to track and manage all issues.
+ Work closely with the firm management team to develop workflow improvements.
+ Resolve Tier 1 and 2 helpdesk problems.
+ Work with our outsourced Engineering firm on infrastructure issues and improvements.
+ Assist with architecture upgrades, expansion and new services.
+ Interface with remote sites via email/phone to walk through hands-on troubleshooting.
+ Assist the team in resolving production issues on nights and weekends as needed.
+ Assist and/or perform scheduled after hour maintenance and system upgrades.
+ On call support for major outages or network issues.
+ Ability to multi-task a must.
+ Minimum 1-3 years in the IT industry. Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a Associate’s Degree.
+ 1+ years demonstrated experience with VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon preferred.
+ 1+ years demonstrated experience with server, storage, and network architecture.
+ 1+ years demonstrated experience in managing and troubleshooting aspects of a Windows domain environment.
+ Dell server and Nimble storage experience preferred.
+ Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure experience a plus
+ Strong analytic, organizational, communication and personal skills.
