The per diem Histology Technician is responsible for the technical aspects of the Histology area of the Dept of Pathology. Provides oversight for P&P's, Proficiency Testing, Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Histology. Applies Dignity Health's Core Values to the performance of every job duty. - One (1) year experience beyond training as a Histotechnician.
- High School Diploma required.
- ASCP Histotechnician Certificate or equivalent (HT or HT-L) required.
- Mimimum of three (3) to five (5) years combined experience in the healthcare industry.
- Two (2) years of college or instructional trade preferrable.
