The home care nurse provides, coordinates, teaches and/or supervises care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient's home. They employ the nursing process to develop and implement plans of care for patients requiring in-home health and support services, under physician orders.
The Johns Hopkins Home Care Group is looking for somone either full-time or PRN Monday - Friday.
Administration of hight tech infusions
Frequent care and use of Central Venous Access devices
Evaluation and assessment of patients
Referral and coordination of services in the agency and the community
Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
Must have current specialty certification in one of the following:
- Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state
- 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Current CPR certification.
