The Program Assistant for General Admissions works as part of a tag-team that executes the administrative functions and provides the customer service for general admissions efforts. This team responds to all on-demand requests while also managing ongoing time-bound responsibilities. In addition to the daily administrative tasks, team members provide the insight and input required to ensure continued quality and ongoing improvement. The Admissions Department is responsible for facilitating general admissions, selective admissions and residency for tuition purposes. The department maintains student records and provides support to students needing guidance through the process of getting started at Highline. The Admissions Department also manages and supports the Information Desk. The person in this position is expected to participate fully as a member of the Admissions Department, supporting other functional areas as needed.
