Establish effective partnerships and communication across the division to ensure HR programs and processes are implemented consistently and effectively.
Execute and manage the annual talent/performance management and compensation process for assigned areas.
Play a key role in talent and succession planning by partnering with the leadership team in identifying development plans to address key skill and knowledge gaps.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Support and coach managers to identify employee issues and find solutions with minimal risk to the business.
Collaborate with Learning and Development and division leaders to identify training needs, define programs to address the needs, and support implementation of programs including facilitating training for managers.
Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the divisions financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition.
Ability to travel 25% of the time to support: branches across the state of Connecticut
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
5-8 years of progressive experience within Human Resources; preferably in banking
Demonstrated experience influencing Business Partners and driving change
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Proficiency in all MS Office Programs
Delivers Human Resources strategic and tactical initiatives for the Retail Bank Division in an HR Manager/Business Partner role for approximately 300 employees. Understands business challenges and supports the development of solutions that drive business performance. Acts as a consultant to divisional leaders on organizational and HR related issues, including but not limited to, performance/talent management, employee relations, and employee engagement to promote and maintain high performance culture. Position located in our Woodbridge CT, office.
