Position Summary:
The HR Operations Analyst assists in the operation and maintenance of the HRIS system to ensure accurate and timely processing of all changes to an employee's record and maintains ongoing integrity of data. The HR Operations Analyst will work closely to support and collaborate with the Team Lead - HRIS Operations, HRIS Specialists and HRIS Analysts
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete special/complex processing transactions such as experience differentials, uniform allowance, special pay outs, etc
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the Lawson System, both as an individual contributor and performing quality assessments of the HRIS Specialists through the following:
- Timely updates and changes to employee information
- Audit LOA transactions and provide results to LOA Team
- Audit benefit transactions and provide results to HRIS Specialists
- Accurate verification of employee information
- Maintain standards set by HRIS for monitoring system errors
- Run Lawson updates ensuring changes are accurately reflected
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the HRIS Specialists
- Develop, run and distribute complex query reports both on a regular or as requested basis
- Manage and processes transactions for individuals and groups of employees as required
- Reviews and audits compensation change actions for accuracy
- Develop transactional workflow for data correction requests/mass data updates
- Develop HRIS workflows
- Develop policy/process pertaining to HRIS
- Maintain working knowledge of company policies to provide guidance to employees and managers to ensure compliance and consistency
- Working both autonomously and in a team environment to provide HR Support to the Business Partners, Payroll and entity HR departments
- Maintains communication with the payroll department, appropriate HR staff, and department managers, in all areas as needed, to ensure employee basic data information is accurate and issues/errors are addressed in a timely manner
- Assist with other HR related projects
Requirements and Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years of HRIS experience required
- Hands-on experience running complex reports
- Lawson knowledge highly preferred
- Must have a working knowledge of Human Resources
- Committed to excellence in service and performance
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications; specifically Excel
- Superior analytical skills and problem solving ability, as evidenced by the proven ability to interpret business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users and to all levels in the organization
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
