EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related concentration of studies preferred. Prior experience in a health care setting is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Requires ability to interpret and/or research standards and criteria related to health care; ability to design, plan, measure, analyze, and improve processes and systems with a teamwork approach.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSBILITIIES: Directly manages organization wide human resources policy and procedures; staff competency, human resources planning, labor relations, and staffing and labor law.
