Benefits Program Manager
The Benefits Program Manager will manage, develop and lead strategic benefits programs on behalf of Comerica. The position will manage vendor relationships and oversees all contract renewals and negotiations. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of a Benefits Communication Strategy across the organization.
Requires critical thinking skills, ability to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data, and strong written communication skills.
Provide day-to-day administration of benefits programs including enrollments, changes, and employee assistance; ensuring compliance with all mandated rules and regulations.
Manage all benefit contracts and renewals (initiation to signature, and beyond).
Create and execute benefit communications and Total Rewards branding strategy, including Benefit SharePoint pages (partners with benefit SMEs and corporate communications to develop collateral and effectively distribute).
Select, design, administer, and own vendor relationships of stand-alone benefit programs (e.g., voluntary benefits, AYCO, executive LTD, COBRA compliance and oversight, Flexible Work Arrangement program).
Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects as necessary including, but not limited to RFPs, pandemic response, platform upgrades, Total Reward Statements.
Reporting and analytics on regular basis; when required, implementation of new systems and technology related to benefit plan administration.
Bachelors degree from an accredited university
8 years professional experience in a Benefits function within Corporate Human Resources
3 years professional experience leading and managing corporate projects
3 years professional experience in vendor management
3 years professional experience in contract management
