HVAC and Refrigeration technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and Refrigeration systems commonly installed in commercial applications. Qualifications: ? High School Diploma/Equivalent. ? EPA Universal Certified. ? Valid driver?s license. ? 5 years? service experience in commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC. ? Well-versed in the use of Freon 22, 404, 408, 409, HP80 and 81, 134, and 12 as well as proper refrigerant recovery procedures. ? Refrigeration experience such as: ice machines, walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, & rack systems. ? Must have previous work experience within a hospital or health care area is required. ? Strong knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. ? Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical and control systems. ? Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics. ? Physically able to climb ladders and to lift objects up to fifty pounds. Job Duties: ? Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations. ? Repairs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, control systems, and humidity and temperature control systems. ? Working knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS). ? Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment. ? Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairing of commercial/ industrial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems. Additional Skills Desired: ? Successful completion of a trade/vocational school.
