Tucson office of our client seeks immigration attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will handle appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Must have experience practicing removal defense before the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Experience challenging the governments charges of removal, litigating various forms of relief in removal proceedings (including asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and waivers) is required. Experience advocating for non-citizens release on bond is also required. Fluency or a high level of proficiency in Spanish is required. Must be licensed to practice law in one of 50 states.Additional Skills: Strong research and writing skills are necessary. Must have a JD degree from an accredited law school.
