Industrial Sales Manager
Paul H. Gesswein Co., Inc. – Bridgeport, CT
Gesswein is looking for an experienced industrial sales manager to coordinate the servicing of our existing customers and the growth of new customers in our industrial division.
The Paul H. Gesswein Co. is a family owned business serving industries throughout the U.S. and around the world since 1914. We supply an extensive line of high quality precision tools and equipment to metal manufacturers in the tool & die, aerospace, medical, deburring, and jewelry fabrication industries. Our product offering of over 15,000 items is stocked at our facility located in Bridgeport CT.
- Manage an internal team of industrial sales staff.
- Develop and execute various sales strategies and new growth initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage trade shows.
- Play an active role in the development of new products, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Manage an existing territory of key accounts.
- Travel up to 30% of the time for customer visits and trade shows.
- Position is a member of ourmanagement team and reports to the president.
- Sales management experience withinthe industrial distribution field.
- Strong computer skills are a must including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Office, Microsoft CRM as well as good web research abilities.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to develop a technical knowledge of our trade and products (training provided).
- A bachelor’s degree in management or technical field, master’s preferred.
- Commensurate with experience.
