As Info SecurityAnalyst Senior, you willsupport the goals and objectives of the Scripps Information Security Program. Inthis role you will support security incident response, threat hunting, riskidentification, and risk analysis. Playan integral role in investigating, researching, logging, tracking, andfollowing up on security incidents, as well as legal and regulatoryrequirements.
Additionally, you will assist in continuously enhancing the related information security program policies, standards, procedures, guidelines; and coordinating education and awareness activities required to increase the organization's awareness of information security roles and responsibilities, good business practices, and security safeguards.
This is a full-time, Exempt position (80 hour per pay period) and located in La Jolla.
Bachelor'sdegree in information systems, telecommunications, computer engineering,computer science, or related discipline preferred OR will accept relevant workexperience in lieu of a degree.
Minimumfive years of progressive experience in information security or an informationtechnology related field (e.g., networking).
Abilityto evaluate, assess risk, and apply safeguards to information systems.
Technicalknowledge of information security concepts, information technology internalcontrols and safeguards, technologies, vulnerabilities, and applicable rulesand regulations.
Understandingof key information systems and processes in an integrated healthcare deliveryenvironment.
Knowledgeof internal and information security control frameworks, specifically NIST800-53 and CIS CSC Top 20.
Demonstratedeffective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Highlevel of personal accountability for accuracy, attention to detail, taskprioritization, and timely completion.
Abilityto work independently under conditions of constant change, important deadlines,and rapid response to security incidents.
CISSPor GIAC designations must be held in good standing or attained within 24 monthsof date of hire.
