The Senior Information Security Analyst position covers a wide range of activities including SDL, application security, and cryptography. This role requires technical knowledge, well developed skills for engagement, and solid communication skills to collaborate and partner successfully across the IT department assuring the security of information assets. Moreover, this person has conducted information security assessments, identified gaps and recommended solutions in this cross-collaborative role that will impact all business users in a professional, global organization. Responsibilities:Assist in the development of information security policy and audit policy compliance.Conduct information security risk and vulnerability assessments, providing input, mitigating controls, and solutions to projects and initiatives.Identify information security gaps/opportunities and recommend/implement appropriate solutions and controls.Collaborate with IT infrastructure and application teams, representing information security.Implement and refine information security monitoring capabilities within the company infrastructure, developing and utilizing automation where possible.Design and implementation of SDL.A background in software development with good knowledge of best practices and frameworksExperience with penetration testing and the tools of the trade that help identify potential attack vectors.Demonstrated experience working with statistical analysis tools and processes.Base knowledge of cryptography (public key, symmetric), experience with hashing and key generation.Solid understanding around the current threat landscape, including OWASP, SANS, etc.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in information security, including design, architecture & risk/vulnerability assessment.Strong knowledge of application security, Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows, SharePoint, Forefront).Demonstrated documentation, planning, and organizational skills; Ability to effectively manage and work in a multi-disciplinary team environment (business users, system analysts, project managers, developers, testers, etc.)Experience constructing and deploying an SDL.Excellent communication skills, including technical and non-technical presentations and documentation.Strong project management skills applied in a business/corporate environment with strong follow through and attention to detail.CISSP, GIAC certifications preferred.
