Inside sales position reporting to the Sales Manager. This role requires a purpose-driven, self-starting individual who excels in a fast-paced work environment and is responsible for exceeding inside sales targets. Profitable growth driver. Working in a team and partnering with outside sales and service teams. Responsible for all activity and process with new and existing customers including standard capital, service & aftermarket components in focused territories, verticals and key customer relationships. For capital and strategic sales, leads are assigned based on (complexity, size, location, vertical market expertise, etc.). Objectives include all revenue (capital, service & aftermarket components) for existing customer targets within a territory and all revenue in the territory or vertical including new customer development and department efficiency and scale.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Drive a culture of safety, performance and accountability
- Retain and grow accounts which includes selling service contracts, services, replacement capital and aftermarket components
- Responsible for proactively seeking orders for standard capital equipment, services and aftermarket components
- Assists with the service renewal process and provides input on renewal pricing for accounts
- Independent practitioner of SalesForce competencies. Strong collaborator and team player. Proficient closer; expert customer engagement
- Responsible for entering and updating customer sales leads into SalesForce
- Enter and confirm customer orders and quotes, coordinate sales and operational processes to ensure that orders will ship on time and customer satisfaction is supreme
- Participate in the organization and execution of sales projects
Associates and/or BS/BA degree in related discipline and/or equivalent experience preferred.Prefer 3+ years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience.
Individual with initiative, self-motivating skillset that works autonomously
Strong relationship skills
Attention to detail with documentation and discovery
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized and disciplined in representing Evoqua.
Strong negotiating skills with proven ability to close contracts.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with CRM’s and ERP systems used in technical, capital and/or service sales processes
- A foundational understanding of how to meet customer expectations and work as an integral part of sales and service teams in a dynamic organization.
- Capable in all Office software tools.
