THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION FOR APPROXIMATELY THREE MONTHS
The Inside Sales incumbent must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively to a high volume of people throughout the workday, will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services. Works with team members in the field including field sales. Provides support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits as necessary. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Essential Functions of this Position (list in order of most important to least important):
1. Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories.2. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques3. Creates new accounts. Interact with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered.4. Demonstrates products or services and provides assistance in the best application to products or services.5. Answer questions concerning a product or service with appropriated referrals where required6. May coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs.7. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED
Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs space mgmt):
• High School Diploma / GED required• 2 year experience in previous sales experience (inside and outside)• Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. “plan-o-gram” software expertise, presentation skills):• Ability to close transactions and take orders• Submits time and expense reports to management • Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies• Must be familiar with Excel and Word• Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management• May calculate and quote prices
