Responsible for coordinating the orders/materials requests and; for the receiving and dispatching of all packaging components and miscellaneous required from Warehouse and label room areas to the Inspection/Packaging areas. Also coordinate and handle product waste movements from collection areas to end points. This position must comply with all Security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the job function. Coordinates with the Warehouse all material delivery based on schedule and support then if necessary. Coordinates the pallets movement to inspection, assembly and packaging lines and the label room material assuring transference into final location based on production schedule including the printing of process orders from SAP system. Verifies material availability and lot status in SAP system prior to packaging process assuring accuracy of each pallet materials moved to guarantee timely delivery to the correct line or location and executes the movement completion in SAP system. Prepares product lot documentation, which includes: manufacturing forms for expiration date calculation, batch records, process orders, etc., based on production schedule for product and/or packaging components movement to inspection, assembly and packaging lines, including printing of process orders from the SAP system. Assigns product lot expiration dates for packaging process for all packaging products according to site procedures. Assures that pallets at the end of a campaign are delivered to the correct location/warehouse: only pallets for the ongoing lot can be kept in the area and assures good condition of this equipment. Assures that all material needed in the area is delivered on time and, reports any discrepancy or material shortage on time. Confirms the materials received in SAP system and generates all transactions necessary for the return of unused material to Warehouse, and any other SAP or systems transactions according to site SOPs as required and performs reconciliation of materials and product to assure inventory accuracy. Reviews area documentation to ensure it is complete, accurate, error free, and on time delivered using the electronic documentation systems for documentation change request. Verifies all components against the assembly/packaging order. Completes and follow good documentation practices required before line star up and during the packaging process. Maintains inspection-packaging staging area, including inspection/packaging areas, organize and in good housekeeping at all time. Cleans all packaging/assembly/ inspection lines according to procedures and performs line clearance and changeover, as required. Supports the cleaning and set up operations when inspection-packaging process is completed for on time material movement and transactions. Oversees product waste areas and transports accumulated materials to designated areas and performs housekeeping and handling of waste according to procedure. Supports the inspection, assembly and packaging areas (cleaning, set up and or minor equipment troubleshooting) as required, including the operation of automatic and semi- automatic inspection/assembly/packaging equipment and performed manual packaging and inspection, as required. Assists manufacturing activities in other areas within operations and participates in special projects during audits and regulatory inspection, as required. Coordinates with Warehouse all material delivery based on schedule and support material transfer as necessary. This includes but is not limited to cold storage organization, empty carts and tray delivery.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma. Three (3) years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge in computerized systems. Knowledge in operating, set up and changeover of Packaging equipment (Labeler machines for Parenteral products, Cartoner machines, Check weighed and/or scales, Electronic equipment, Vision System, Manual assembly packaging lines, Secondary packaging semi-automated equipment and combination product assembly equipments). Knowledgeable in CGMP practices, process area, documentation, safety, EHS and hygiene practices. Good communication and Interpersonal skills. Ability to enter data into a computer and perform process transactions. Skills in accurate visual inspection (e.g. products and components defects). Ability to plan and/or follows work schedules, set priorities with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. Strong organizational skills. Ability to resolve day-to-day problems. Attention to detail, especially while documenting GMP documents. Capability to recognize and suggest ways to implement cost-efficient measures as they apply to routine manufacturing process. Heavy work requires to lift around 25-60 pounds. Ability to operate Forklift (the company will provide the training and certification as a requirement of this role), pallet jacks, manual and electric pallet lifters. Willing to work irregular hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays when necessary.
