Create compelling course content to train end-users, developers, engineers, new hires, and others on Arc Publishing’s suite of digital publishing tools.
Take ownership of the Arc Publishing LMS training platform in an administrative capacity.
Develop and disseminate Arc newsroom products’ training and professional development materials. This includes creating new instructional materials and leveraging existing materials, including the online learning center documentation, videos, webinar presentations, and customer training curricula materials.
Assess individual and group training needs for clients and for new employee onboarding purposes.
Perform on-site customer training and presentations as required.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Arc newsroom products.
Develop and maintain training materials to reflect changes in new product releases.
Design and deliver customized training and professional development sessions.
Perform other assignments or duties as required.
A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Instructional Design or a comparable, relevant field
5+ years of related, demonstrable experience, which could include developing and implementing instructional design systems/learner development frameworks, providing training in corporate or educational settings, and/or deploying adult learning solutions using an ADDIE or Agile framework
Ability to communicate and interact with employees and customers at all levels, including the ability to give clear precise instructions that are readily understandable by non-technical users
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and webinar/ILT hosting services (WebEx GoToMeeting, Chime)
This position may require travel up to 25%
Detailed-oriented, with strong organizational, creative problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
Must have excellent presentation, written communication, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some limited weekend and evening work
Experience working in a digital publishing setting a plus, preferably in a newsroom
Knowledge of Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and/or Mandarin a plus
