To perform agent licensing for the contracting department, field force and other internal employees. This position will require the Agent Licensing Specialist to develop a deep understanding of current processes around contracting, licensing and commission set up.
Review and process independent agent contracts through ePortal submission in a timely and efficient manner.
Enter and maintain agent information including personal data, contract type, commissions and licenses in administration system.
Create and maintain electronic filing system for all agent related documentation.
Provide contracting expertise for agents and internal marketing staff.
Communicate effectively with agents via email and phone.
Maintain communication with management regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities.
Maintain compliance with all standards, controls, policies and practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience in licensing and contracting independent insurance agents in a home office or insurance agency
Education: 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Well organized with attention to detail
Strong data entry skills
Experience using PDF editing features
PC skills to include Microsoft Office applications
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of insurance and/or business practices and principles to solve problems
