**Job Description** The Integrated Transformation Business Development Executive (IT BDE) leverages business strategy, process, and technology skill/experience to help clients implement their transformation initiatives through integrated Services-led IBM solutions. The IT BDE is a recognized industry thought leader with an ability to listen, understand and connect client’s transformation agenda and imperatives to IBM’s cross-brand capabilities, with agility. The IT BDE forges and sustains successful strategic partnerships with clients, gaining client’s attention and trust, identifying urgency and compelling reason to act, and overcoming all internal and external challenges through creative methods for successful delivery The Skill Profile for an IT BDE includes: + C-Level and Line of Business (LoB) Executive presence and influence leading transformational deal business development and negotiations. Knows to orient themselves to suit client's business environment, organizational stakeholder dynamics, listening and learning about client’s transformation agenda and imperatives before acting. Has the ability to spot the differential in the deal and control the deal and magnify the spread, looking for each deal to be bigger than the one before. Relationship-focused, confidence-building through expertise and industry eminence gaining client attention and earning trust; strong demonstrated leadership. + Deep knowledge/experience in business strategy and processes within the Travel & Transportation industry. Comprehensive understanding of industry specific trends, pain points, industry business processes, dependencies, risks, ecosystem, and competing/ emerging disruptions/ disruptors and opportunities to employ Cloud technologies to digitally transform clients for business outcomes; Ability to leverage balance sheet and create compelling business cases. Designs unique, innovative client-specific industry Points of View (POV) that positions IBM as a trusted visionary partner. + Industry and solutions skills in Global Blueprint Digital and Data Driven offerings and business models; Proven track record of taking clients from assessment through roadmap and transformation planning.
