Intercultural/Cross Cultural Communication Adjunct - (180615)
The Department of Humanities and Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,
Prescott campus, invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach one to two sections per semester of a course titled Applied Cross Cultural Communication.
Successful candidates may also have the opportunity to teach other introductory humanities or writing courses to support our students’ communication skills across the disciplines, as needed.
M.A. or Ph.D. in intercultural communication, international or intercultural education (with significant coursework focused on intercultural communication) or a closely related field in hand at the time of hire.
Evidence of successful teaching.
The ability to use classroom technology effectively in teaching and learning.
A Master's degree or PhD. in Communication or Communication Studies with an emphasis on intercultural communication is preferred. The ability to work well with students not intending to major in communication is essential.
