DDC IT Services supports Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) with providing engineering, integration, sustainment, and operations functions across multiple Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) datacenters. This includes networks both inside DISA data centers as well as remote non-DISA locations. The contractor will be required to access both classified and unclassified systems.
The contractor shall support network integration. The contractor shall provide support in coordinating the integration of new systems created for DISA/DoD use within the DISA data center. The contractor shall provide support in resolving network communication issues as the development and integration of these systems transition from initial standup to initial operating capacity to full operating capacity (FOC). The contractor shall update baseline artifacts to include logical design, as-is drawings for proper network administration of the systems and applications stood up by the DISA Implementation and Sustainment Directorate. The contractor shall diagram, document, configure and install layer 2/3 networks in the predefined Government format.
The contractor shall support hardware integration. The contractor shall install and modify network components for life cycle tech refresh management. This includes physical and/or logical connections with any/all network devices/components. The contractor shall not make and modifications or changes without an approved change request. The contractor shall support implementation of configuration management process and support the tracking and reporting of those changes. The contractor shall implement, install, document, and maintain complex and large-scale network solutions with many network components and inter-relations with other network systems or applications. The contractor shall integrate new network solutions replacing end of life/end of support network hardware.
The contractor shall support network application sustainment. The contractor shall support the modification of systems no longer in development but in DISA Full Operational Control. The contractor shall complete system changes through VLAN modifications, firewall access control list (ACL) modifications, IP route modifications, and follow up service to ensure the change met the mission partner’s intent. The contractor shall interface with the DISA Global Service Desk and Ecosystem Command and Control staff using Remedy ITSM to provide support for requests for change according to urgency and priority. The following shall be performed by the contractor: perform diagnostic testing amount data center network components. The contractor shall configure and maintain network gear in accordance with Comm. Line of business established policies and templates. The contractor shall troubleshoot end user connectivity problems to systems hosted within the DISA data centers. The contractor shall configure, maintain, and troubleshoot transmission control protocol (TCP)/IP and other network protocols. The contractor shall identify existing/potential network problems and report outages with corrective actions in play.

6+ Years, Implementation and sustainment of complex Datacenter and Enterprise Network infrastructure in a multi-vendor environment.
Technical Skills Required:
The contractor shall utilize current network communications topologies and communications infrastructure hardware including switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and Active Directory (AD). The contractor shall utilize the following technologies in support of network design: 802.1q trunking, Internet Protocol Security (IPSec)/ Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Terminal Access Controller Access Control System (TACACS)/Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS), Synchronous Optical Networking (SONET)/Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), Software Defined Networking (SDN) and convergent networks. The contractor shall utilize networking protocols (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Data-Link Switching (DLSW), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)) and measures to limit network access to UNIX systems (i.e.-TCP wrappers). The contractor shall utilize network analyzers and troubleshoot/isolate network connectivity issues.
Minimum Education Level: Associates Degree
Certifications Required: Security+, CCNA Security, or CCNP Security to start and a Vendor Certification (Professional or higher) 6 months after start
