Summary of Role:
Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
Review, and update Chemical Information using OSHA Threshold Classification Criteria, USEPA Category Codes and Toxic Substance Control Listings.
Review current Chemical Management Operating Procedures and collaborate with Team to make updates. Compare current Operating Procedures to determine if they comply with Corporate Policy Statements, laws, regulations and or standards.
Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, training staff, and performing other general administrative duties.
Review, and update chemical information to meet all EH&S Requirements.
Review chemicals by applying principles and technology of chemistry, physics, and engineering to determine most effective arrangement of chemical storage rooms.
Provide technical-level support for environmental determination of regulatory applicability.
Education: Must be a Bachelors Degree candidate enrolled in an accredited program on Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
Excellent academic standing.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Attention to detail.
Self-motivated; able to take ownership of assignments, develop work plans and proactively seek feedback to ensure objectives are aligned and met.
Team player; able to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
