Summary of Role:
GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 10 is seeking highly skilled and motivated Equipment Engineering Intern to become part of our state of the art 300mm factory in East Fishkill, New York. This position is for the Equipment Excellence team, which is responsible for managing equipment throughout its life-cycle including improving equipment performance, driving down spending, coordinating technical training, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and enabling efficiency through IT solution.
Drive a cross functional project with a goal of setting sustainable fab-wide standards.
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Familiarity with maintenance and manufacturing operations.
Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Strong project leadership, organization and excellent communication skills.
Possess a passion for excellence with high integrity and a commitment to quality.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google G-Suite products.
Solid data analysis skills including familiarity with analysis tools (Matlab, JMP, R, etc.).
Education – Currently enrolled as a BS Candidate Senior, Junior, or Sophomore with some Junior level course completion in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline
Experience – appropriate college course work
