The Internal Medicine Residency at Beaumont Hospital - Dearborn, Michigan is seeking a board-certified, full-time faculty physician with passion and enthusiasm for teaching residents and medical students. Beaumont Hospital - Dearborn is a major teaching hospital affiliated with the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Beaumont Hospital - Dearborn is a 632-bed facility, a Level II trauma center, and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center.
Teaching experience is desired, outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills are a must. The position includes several months per year of rounding on the inpatient teaching service, precepting and patient care in our Ambulatory Clinic, development and delivery of varied curricula, mentoring and advising residents and medical students.
Beaumont Hospital – Dearborn, is home to 8 residencies and 2 fellowship programs: Cardiology and Geriatric Medicine. The Internal Medicine Residency Program has been accredited by the ACGME since 1969. There are 10 categorical per year and 3 preliminary residents chosen through NRMP for a total of 33 residents for the program. There are several full-time core faculty members and numerous sub-specialist faculty members.
