Position description Responsible for promoting Mayo Clinic's core values and supporting community-based health care and integrated delivery systems through the sale of Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) tests in Hematology and Oncology throughout the territory of Canada. Accountable for generating new business revenue and co-developing with MCL clients their specific account and/or test selling and promotional strategies. In collaboration with the Director of International Clinical Specialty Sales, Regional Director of Sales, Regional Managers and their clients, project annual sales growth, market dynamics, and economic conditions. Co-develop and implement business plans for territory/accounts with the Director of International Clinical Specialty Sales, Regional Director of Sales, Regional Managers and their clients. Effectively sell and compel buying influences, engaging with physicians, and institution/laboratory leadership to move testing to MCL by differentiating from competing interests. Coordinate appropriate resources, develop presentations and participate in the bid process for new and upsell opportunities. In collaboration with Product Managers, the Director of International Clinical Specialty Sales, the Regional Director of Sales, and Regional Managers, identify specific tests or groups of test that are differentiated in the market and pursue upsells to targeted clients. With Regional Managers, negotiate pricing, coordinate contract development and execution, and monitor the accurate lock-in of prices. This position may require travel up to 80%. Qualifications Bachelor's and three years’ experience in sales preferably within the market segment they will be representing (i.e., Hematology & Oncology), physician/client facing contact or negotiating contracts within a hospital or laboratory setting. This position requires incumbent to work from an office in their home located in the USA. **Visa sponsorship not available for this position** Additional qualifications Strong preference toward candidates with technical biosciences background, e.g. formal education in biochemistry or genetics. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have successfully completed advanced academic degrees (e.g., Ph.D.) or specialized training in subject matter relevant to the job skills described above. Health care industry experience is preferred. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a proven track record of successful international sales experience. Fluency in French is a plus, but not a requirement. Must have excellent human relations and communications skills. Must be able to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when prioritizing projects. Must possess decision-making and problem-solving skills.
