About the Job
Investigators shall be responsible for conducting investigations, preparing and serving subpoenas, interviewing complainants and witnesses. Investigators shall assist the Assistant District Attorney in presenting evidence and information to a grand jury. Investigators shall assist other law enforcement agencies who seek advice on investigations concerning public servants and public officials.

- Operate electronic database, enter and retrieve information, and write reports
- Review case files to assist in the preparation of cases for trial
- Locate and interview witnesses and gather evidence involved in criminal cases
- Transport witnesses and complainants to the court room
- Conduct investigations both reactive and proactive as directed by their Superior
- Provide security for the employees of the Harris County District Attorney's Office
- Serve subpoenas issued by the court to witnesses and persons involved in the case that have evidential value
