•Reviewing hardware and software licenses issued to Company employees and contractors to ensure compliance in accordance with Company policies. Performing regular and objective reviews of licenses and end user license agreements.

•Maintaining a centralized software library and hardware stockroom. Inventory and asset-tag company IT assets prior to issuance regardless of location. Administers an IT Asset Management software system utilized for discovery and management of IT software and hardware assets.
•Prepare usage reports, reconcile asset utilization against available resources and recommend removal and/or re-issuance of software or hardware in accordance with departmental policies and practices. Conduct asset disposal and salvage activities. Provide detailed asset inventory reports to IT management.
• Additional duties include performing basic feasibility, cost-benefit, and ROI analysis, product research on various software or hardware, providing input during vendor contract or agreement negotiations, responding to internal audit requests, and maintaining supporting documentation related to the lifecycle and procurement of software and/or hardware.
•Other functions that may be assigned
•Two (2) years of experience directly related to asset management, software technologies and related processes
•Worker characteristics are normally acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent (G. E. D.) and may include specialized or vocational courses or equivalent combination of education and experience.
