About the Job
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize customer drawings and specifications to set up and perform incoming first article inspections and validations for new plastic molded products.
• Perform first article inspections and document and save all measurement data in the appropriate customer file within the ERP system and shared drive.
• Support quality inspectors by providing technical insight, guidance and direction on existing molded production components and assemblies.
• Assist the quality engineering team and the quality management team with continuous improvement projects by providing ideas and suggestions for improving existing processes.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while compiling data and utilizing measurement equipment.
• Maintain the quality work areas in a safe, clean, and organized (6S) manner. Properly maintain all department tools and equipment. Perform certain maintenance and calibration duties as specified.
